This is a regulation promoted by the US Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and applied to workplace processes. A process is defined as any activity or combination of activities including any use, storage, manufacturing, handling or the on-site movement of highly hazardous chemicals as defined by OSHA and the Environmental Protection Agency.
